About Colour Of Wines

We needed a tool, so we made it ourselves! We spent two years opening bottles and exploring the colours found in the wines of the world!

Our work has resulted in the first ever patented complete system for classification of the main colours found in wine, and is based on actual photos taken from the different colours observed in wines.

The system is called WineFan™, as our first product is actually a helpful colourfan pocket tool incorporating all of the main wine colours.
